meet carey
Carey started her wellness journey at Nevada School of Massage Therapy in Las Vegas, NV where she graduated in 2006 and became a licensed massage therapist.
As a massage therapist, Carey performed medical massage under the supervision of osteopathic physicians and practiced at Canyon Ranch ––one of the top wellness resorts in the nation––where she was able to collaborate with some of the best practitioners in the world.
After years of full-time massage, Carey started to experience chronic neck and back pain, so she decided to hire a personal trainer to help her make a change to her health.
She worked on building strength through moving heavy weight with proper form, getting more sleep, and learning about nutrition that supported her new lifestyle. Since then, Carey has immersed herself in the world of fitness. She led group fitness classes at Swët in Reno, NV, taught strength training at Truckee Meadows Community College, and even started a successful personal training gym.
